When your AI employee drafts a reply, the draft sits inside the conversation it answers in Gmail, with your own Gmail signature and the earlier message quoted below your text, the way Gmail writes replies.

What you get
- Inside the conversation: a reply draft keeps the subject of the conversation it answers, so Gmail shows it with the earlier messages, not as a separate email.
- Your signature, once: your Gmail signature, with its pictures and links, is added once after the text, also when your AI employee rewrites a draft it read back.
- The earlier message quoted: a reply carries the message it answers below your text, in the email and in its plain-text version, unless someone new joins the email.
- Changes edit the same draft: when you ask for a change, the same draft is updated and keeps its recipients, attachments and any forwarded email.
- A plain account of what happened: your AI employee tells you whether a draft was created or changed and whether it sits in its conversation, so you hear only about real changes.
- Older drafts move in: a draft that was saved outside its conversation goes back into it the next time your AI employee changes it.
