Google shows as connected when your AI employee already uses it

For everyone who works with an AI employee

Part of Your AI employee watches for the emails you choose

Signed in to VEP with Google as a team member? Your Google connection now shows as connected while your AI employee already works with your email and documents.

Why it matters

Team members can trust the Google status: it matches the Google sign-in their AI employee works through. They are not told to connect Google while their AI employee already works with their email and documents.

Before
A team member who signed in with Google could see Google as not connected, even while their AI employee was already reading their email.
Now
Google shows as connected when your Google sign-in lets your AI employee use your email, calendar, documents, spreadsheets and Drive files.

What you get

  • A status that matches: Google shows as connected when your Google sign-in covers email, calendar events, documents, spreadsheets and Drive files.
  • For team members: it applies to team members who are not company admins. Admins see Google as before.
  • If it still says not connected: your sign-in lacks something your AI employee needs, so connect Google again and allow everything Google asks for.
  • Email watching can need more: watching your inbox as emails arrive needs full email access. If your sign-in lacks it, you are told once, in plain words, how to allow it.

How to use it

Nothing to switch on: team members who signed in to VEP with Google see it in their settings, under Integrations, at Google Workspace.

Connect your Gmail, then name the people, clients or shared addresses that matter. Each matching email reaches your chat within minutes, handled your way.
