What you get
- At once: the latest messages of the group chat you open appear right away from your phone, with your own messages on your side and their dates, while VEP checks for anything new and adds it.
- Every kind of group: team and company chats, channels, decision threads and forums all work this way, and a forum keeps each topic you opened with its own messages, next to its members and pinned message.
- Group details too: tapping a group's name without a connection opens its description, members and settings as they were the last time you opened the group online.
- Scroll back offline: older messages you have already seen keep coming as you scroll up, and where VEP has not seen them yet, the chat says to connect to load older messages.
- Nothing out of place: messages you write without a connection stay at the end of the chat, also after you close and reopen VEP, and go out once you are back online.
How to use it
Nothing to switch on: it works in VEP on your iPhone or iPad home screen and in phone and tablet browsers, once you have opened the chat online on that device.
