A message to an AI employee written without a connection is sent when you are back online, even if you never reopen that chat, and shows as waiting in the chat.
Why it matters
A task for an AI employee often comes to mind where the signal is gone: on a plane, in a lift or down at the harbor. Writing it down right there should be enough, without remembering to open the same chat again later.

- A message to an AI employee written without a connection was sent only once you opened that same chat again with a connection.
- Now
- Messages to AI employees written without a connection go out by themselves, once, as soon as VEP is open with a connection again.
What you get
- By itself: as soon as VEP is open with a connection, waiting messages to your AI employees are sent within seconds, whichever chat or list you have open, the chat they were written in included.
- Once each: each message is sent exactly once, one after another, and a message that already arrived is never sent a second time.
- Shows as waiting: in the chat, a message that has not gone out yet carries a clock, and one written without a connection can be deleted before it is sent, even while you are still offline. A deleted message is never sent.
- Days without a connection: a message keeps waiting for as long as you stay offline, because only time with a connection counts toward the limit after which VEP stops trying.
- Text kept: if a message cannot be sent at all, its text goes back into that chat, with a short note on why, the next time you open it, even when the phone is nearly out of space.
- A reply still finishing: when your AI employee is just finishing an earlier answer as the message goes out, VEP tries again a few seconds later instead of giving the text back.
How to use it
Nothing to switch on: it works in VEP on your iPhone or iPad home screen and in phone and tablet browsers while VEP is open.
