Audio and video calls you start on your phone now connect when your colleague answers. A colleague whose VEP is closed still gets your call as a notification and can call you back while your call is ringing.
Why it matters
A call that rings but never connects wastes everyone's time. On an iPhone, VEP closes soon after you leave it, so most colleagues showed as offline and could not be called at all. Calls now reach people wherever they are.

What you get
- Calls from your phone connect: audio and video calls you start from a person's profile on your phone connect when they answer, on a phone or on a computer.
- Colleagues with VEP closed: your call still reaches their phone as a notification, and your call screen tells you so. Without an answer, the call ends by itself after 45 seconds.
- Call back while it rings: a colleague who opens VEP from the notification and calls you back while your call still rings joins your call, and two people calling each other at once get one call.
- Answer on any device: with VEP open on your phone and your computer, you can answer on either one, and the call stays up.
- A short drop recovers: when the network drops for a moment, the call carries on as soon as it is back, and it ends only after 5 seconds without a connection.
- Fits the screen: the call screen keeps every button within reach, also with the phone held sideways, and keeps clear of the edges of the iPhone screen.
How to use it
Nothing to switch on: it works for audio and video calls between colleagues in VEP in the browser and in the home screen app on your iPhone.
