Talking with your AI employee in live voice? If your phone missed part of a spoken answer, live voice finishes it when you come back soon, and older answers stay quietly in the chat.
Why it matters
A missed answer is worth hearing while the conversation is still fresh. Later it belongs in the chat as text, so opening the chat the next day does not start reading old answers out loud.

- An answer your phone missed could be read out again much later, each time you opened or reloaded the chat, and its formatting could blink for a moment.
- Now
- Live voice finishes a missed answer within 15 minutes of it being ready, and older answers stay in the chat as text with their formatting intact.
What you get
- Fresh answers are finished: if the screen locked or the connection dropped in the middle of an answer, live voice says the rest when you return within 15 minutes of the answer being ready.
- Picks up where it stopped: the parts you already heard are not repeated, and an answer that has started playing keeps playing when you also open the chat on another device.
- Older answers stay as text: answers older than 15 minutes are not read out again when you open or reload the chat on any device, so you read them at your own pace.
- Formatting stays in place: a finished answer keeps its headings, lists and tables while the chat catches up, without a flash of plain text.
- Long answers keep their voice: an answer that takes a long time to write can still be spoken as soon as it is ready, however long it took.
