Expired tool sign-ins reach your phone and missed tasks catch up
For everyone who works with an AI employee
Part of When an AI employee is unavailable, the right person is told
When Zendesk, Pipedrive, Asana or Google refuses the sign-in your AI employee uses, the person who can renew it gets one notification on the phone, or one email, and a scheduled task missed meanwhile runs once the sign-in works again.
Why it matters
A note inside VEP is easy to miss, so a refused sign-in could go unnoticed for days while ticket summaries and reports waited. Now the person who can fix it hears at once, wherever they are, and the report they missed still arrives the same day.
- Before
- A refused Zendesk, Pipedrive, Asana or Google sign-in was announced only inside VEP, and the scheduled tasks it paused skipped every run they missed.
- Now
- Expired tool sign-ins send one notification or email to the person who can renew them, and each paused scheduled task makes up its latest missed run.
What you get
- One notification per sign-in problem: when a tool refuses the sign-in, the person who can renew it gets one short notification, however many tasks fail, and a sign-in that breaks again after it worked is a new alert.
- It opens the right chat: the notification, or the link in the email, opens your chat with that AI employee, where the note says how to connect the tool again.
- Email when a notification cannot reach you: with no phone set up for VEP notifications, or with message notifications turned off, the same short text arrives by email at your VEP account address.
- Only the person who can fix it: colleagues whose scheduled tasks wait are told in VEP who can renew the sign-in, and get no notification or email about it.
- Missed tasks run once: when the sign-in works again, each paused scheduled task runs its latest missed run once, if its time was in the last 12 hours, and says it is a late run. Tasks you switched off stay off.
How to use it
Nothing to switch on: turn on notifications for VEP on your phone to get them there, otherwise they arrive by email.
Part of: When an AI employee is unavailable, the right person is told
If an AI employee is unavailable, the person who can fix it gets one alert, others get a short plain note, and waiting questions are answered later.
