A scheduled task missed during a sign-in problem runs once it works

For everyone who works with an AI employee

Part of One-time reminders and an alert when a reply arrives

When a scheduled task could not run because your AI employee could not sign in to its AI account, it now runs once as soon as the sign-in works again, and your AI employee reads its dates as of the missed time.

Why it matters

A weekly report or a morning summary that is missed because of a sign-in problem used to wait for its next time, so someone had to notice the gap and ask for it by hand. Now the missed run arrives the same day, as soon as your AI employee can work again.

Before
When a scheduled task could not run because the AI employee could not sign in, nothing ran it after the sign-in worked again: it simply waited for its next time.
Now
A scheduled task missed because of a sign-in problem runs once, within minutes of the sign-in working again, when its time was in the last 12 hours.

What you get

  • Runs once, right away: within a few minutes of the AI account working again, the missed run starts, and a short note in your chat with the AI employee says which run it makes up for.
  • Also when the task never started: a morning summary whose time came while your AI employee's tasks were paused for the sign-in runs too, not only a run that failed.
  • Only the latest one: if several runs were missed, only the most recent one runs, and only when its time was in the last 12 hours and its next time has not come yet.
  • The right dates: your AI employee reads today and this week as they were at the missed time, so a Friday report made up later that day is still this week's report.
  • Never twice: a missed run is made up at most once. One-time reminders, email alerts and tasks you switched off are never run again.

How to use it

Nothing to switch on: it applies to every repeating scheduled task of your AI employees, and the run posts its results where the task always does.

Part of: One-time reminders and an alert when a reply arrives

Ask your AI employee for a one-time reminder, a scheduled task that ends on a date, or an alert when the Gmail reply you are waiting for arrives.
