Your AI employee answers the messages that waited during an outage
For everyone who works with an AI employee
Part of When an AI employee is unavailable, the right person is told
When your AI employee works again after an outage, it answers the messages that waited in your chat itself, in one reply. Messages more than a day old are listed for you to send again if you still need them.
Why it matters
Questions you asked while your AI employee could not answer should not get lost or need typing again. It now picks them up where they stopped, and a task it had already begun is not done a second time without you.
- Before
- When your AI employee worked again after an outage, it listed some of the questions left without an answer and asked you to send them again.
- Now
- Messages that waited during an outage are answered by your AI employee in one reply once it works again; older ones and work already begun are listed for you.
What you get
- One reply for what waited: your AI employee answers your newest waiting message together with the earlier ones, including messages that were combined into one request while it was down.
- One short line: the chat shows one line that your AI employee works again and is answering the messages that waited, instead of a list of questions to send again.
- Nothing answered twice: a message that already got an answer, or that you sent again yourself, is not answered a second time, even when several outages hit the same chat.
- Work is not repeated: a request your AI employee had already started on when it stopped, such as sending an email, is listed for you to check instead of being run again.
- Older messages listed: messages more than a day old are listed in a short note, so you send again only the ones you still need.
- Only what you wrote: what a scheduled task asks your AI employee is not treated as a message from you, and a request it already confirmed is not answered again.
How to use it
Nothing to switch on: it works in every chat with an AI employee, on a computer and on a phone, after any outage that kept it from answering.
Part of: When an AI employee is unavailable, the right person is told
If an AI employee is unavailable, the person who can fix it gets one alert, others get a short plain note, and waiting questions are answered later.
