Admins hear before the monthly VEP usage runs out
For everyone who works with an AI employee
Part of When an AI employee is unavailable, the right person is told
When your company has used 80% and then 95% of its monthly VEP usage, each business owner and admin who can change the plan gets one note: what is used, what is left, when it renews and how to raise it.
Why it matters
When the monthly usage ran out without a warning, every answer and morning summary was refused at once, and nobody knew why or when it would come back. Now the people who can raise the plan hear early, and everyone else is told when answers return and who can help.
- Before
- The monthly VEP usage ran out without a warning, and a refused answer did not say when it would come back or who could raise the plan.
- Now
- Business owners and admins hear at 80% and at 95% of the monthly VEP usage, and a refused answer names the renewal date and the admins who can raise it.
What you get
- One note at 80% and one at 95% of each month's VEP usage, to each business owner and admin who can change the plan. A note is never repeated; after a bigger plan is chosen you hear again only at 80% and 95% of the new amount.
- Where you already read: once in your decisions conversation for everyone in it, as a card in your chat with your AI employee with a phone notification when notifications are on, or as a message from VEP Support.
- Numbers you can act on: each note says how much is used and how much is left, that the usage renews on the 1st of the month, and which admins can pick a bigger plan before then.
- A refused answer says when: if the usage does run out, the reply names the day it renews and the admins who can raise it, in English or in Russian, with the time in your own time zone.
- Only what VEP pays for counts: answers on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan are not VEP usage, and answers that are still being written are not counted as used.
- Limits of your own plan: when your own Claude or ChatGPT plan reaches its limit, the note says when the limit resets if the provider said so, and what you can do until then.
How to use it
When the 80% or 95% note arrives
Read how much of this month's VEP usage is used and left, and the day it renews. To raise it now, an admin opens Billing from the link in the note, taps View Plans and picks a bigger plan.
When an answer is refused because the usage ran out
The reply names the day the monthly VEP usage renews and the admins who can raise it sooner. Ask one of them, or wait for the 1st of the month: answers start again by themselves.
When your own Claude plan reaches its limit
The note says when the limit resets, if the provider said so, and otherwise that it did not. Until then you can connect another plan for that AI employee with
/connect claude.
Good to know
- If your company also has its own Claude account, the note says so:
/disconnect claudein the chat with the AI employee lets it answer on the company account until you connect its own plan again. - After a bigger plan is chosen, the next notes count against the new amount, so you hear again only when the new plan reaches 80% or 95%.
Part of: When an AI employee is unavailable, the right person is told
If an AI employee is unavailable, the person who can fix it gets one alert, others get a short plain note, and waiting questions are answered later.
