A reply that did not finish says so in one plain sentence
For everyone who works with an AI employee
Part of When an AI employee is unavailable, the right person is told
When a reply from your AI employee did not finish, the red note above it now says so in one plain sentence, and the reply itself explains what happened and what to do next.
Why it matters
Everyone in the chat reads the same plain words, so nobody has to make sense of a technical code. The reply below the note still tells the person who can fix the problem what to do.
- Before
- The red note above a reply that did not finish showed a technical code and an error text written for engineers, not for the people in the chat.
- Now
- Notes above replies that did not finish say so in one plain sentence and mention when VEP already tried once more by itself.
What you get
- One plain sentence: the note says that the reply did not finish, without a technical code or an error text written for engineers.
- Tried again, if it was: when VEP already sent your message once more by itself, the note says so, so you know that sending it again right away may not help.
- What to do is in the reply: the reply below the note says what happened and what to do, such as reconnecting an account or waiting until a usage limit resets, and the button to reconnect Claude stays where it helps.
How to use it
Nothing to switch on: it applies to every chat with an AI employee, on a computer and on a phone.
Part of: When an AI employee is unavailable, the right person is told
If an AI employee is unavailable, the person who can fix it gets one alert, others get a short plain note, and unanswered questions come back later.
