Fixed

A failed chat command gives you a reference for VEP Support

For everyone who works with an AI employee

Part of When an AI employee is unavailable, the right person is told

When a command you type in a chat with your AI employee fails, the reply now says what failed and gives you a reference VEP Support can look up.

Why it matters

You know what to send if the problem keeps coming back, and VEP Support can find what happened from that reference. When the reason is known, such as a missing field, you see it at once and can often fix it yourself.

Before
A failed command ended with a note that the team had been notified and a reference nobody could look up, even when the reason was known.
Now
Replies to a failed command say what failed and show the known reason, such as a missing field, or a reference VEP Support can look up.

What you get

  • A reference that leads somewhere: the reply gives a short reference that VEP Support can look up. If the command keeps failing, send that reference to VEP Support.
  • The known reason, as it is: when the reason is known, such as which field a tool needs or a sign-in code that has to be requested again, the reply shows that reason.
  • Only what really happened: the reply to a failed command never claims that someone was told about it. To reach a person, write to VEP Support in your chats.

How to use it

Nothing to switch on: it applies to every command you type in a chat with your AI employee, such as connecting a tool.

Part of: When an AI employee is unavailable, the right person is told

If an AI employee is unavailable, the person who can fix it gets one alert, others get a short plain note, and unanswered questions come back later.
