Your AI employee says why your own hardware could not answer
For everyone who works with an AI employee
Part of Run an AI employee on your own hardware
When your AI employee works from a computer your company owns and cannot answer, the chat now names that computer and says why, together with the next step.
Why it matters
You see at once whether the computer is offline, not set up for this AI employee or failed during the work, so you fix the right thing instead of sending the same message again and getting the same result.
- Before
- The chat said only that the reply could not be completed and asked you to send the message again, which failed the same way while the computer was unavailable.
- Now
- Messages from an AI employee on your own hardware name the computer, say what went wrong and what to do, and warn when work may already be done.
What you get
- Named, with a reason: when the computer is offline, not ready or switched off for your company, the message names it, says nothing was charged and tells you where to set it right.
- Check before you resend: when the computer took the message and then lost it, the message says whether the work may already be done, so you check before you send it again.
- Its own reason: when work on the computer fails, the message shows the reason the computer gave.
- What was written stays: any part of the answer the computer had already written stays on screen above the note.
- Team members are told plainly: everyone else who writes to this AI employee reads that the company computer it works from is not available right now.
How to use it
Nothing to switch on: it applies to AI employees that work from a computer your company owns, in every chat where they answer.
Part of: Run an AI employee on your own hardware
In early access, admins can move an AI employee onto a computer your company owns, so it answers with an AI installed there. Its knowledge stays in VEP.
