Your AI employee stays signed in to Google Meet and joins meetings
For everyone who works with an AI employee
Part of Meeting notes name more speakers and cover long calls
Your AI employee joins Google Meet with your own Google sign-in. It now keeps that sign-in through Google's account checks and after each meeting, and sets it aside only when Google asks for your email or password.
Why it matters
A meeting your AI employee cannot join is a meeting without notes. Keeping the sign-in through Google's checks and from one meeting to the next means fewer missed meetings, and when your AI employee cannot get past Google's sign-in, you know at once what to do.
- Before
- Your AI employee often said Google Meet needed a new sign-in, even right after you had signed in, and every new try of the same meeting brought another long message.
- Now
- Your AI employee keeps its Google Meet sign-in through Google's checks. The saved sign-in is set aside only when Google asks for your email or password.
What you get
- One browser for sign-in and meetings: the page where you sign in and your AI employee's calls now use the same browser setup, so Google sees the same browser when you sign in and when it joins.
- Through Google's own checks: when Google sends the call through its account pages, asks which account to use or shows a consent page, your AI employee waits, picks your account or answers, and joins.
- Set aside only when Google asks: your saved sign-in is set aside only when Google asks for your email or password. A meeting that refuses entry is reported as that, with what to do.
- Your sign-in stays fresh: the sign-in Google renews during a meeting is kept when your AI employee leaves, and a sign-in you finish while it is joining is never replaced by an older one.
- One note, one link: when your AI employee cannot get past Google's sign-in, you get one short note in your chat with the one link to sign in again, and not one more for each try of that meeting.
- Meet links with an extra part work: a Meet link with an extra meet part in its path, or one that starts with http:// or has no https:// at all, joins the right meeting.
How to use it
In your chat with your AI employee, whenever it joins a Google Meet call with your Google account.
Part of: Meeting notes name more speakers and cover long calls
Your AI employee's Google Meet notes now name speakers that Meet captions identify, cover long calls, and the email links to the notes online.
