- On the home screen, a blocked microphone pointed to browser settings that a home screen app does not have, and some breaks left a live voice connection open.

- Live voice in VEP on your home screen tells you to reopen VEP, start live voice again and tap Allow when the microphone is blocked, and closes its connection when you leave.
What you get
- Steps that work on the home screen: if the microphone is blocked, live voice tells you to close VEP in the app switcher, open it again, then reopen live voice and tap Allow when iOS asks for the microphone.
- Browsers keep their advice: in Safari and other browsers, a blocked microphone still points you to the browser settings, where that permission is kept.
- A pause note that fits: when you switch away during live voice, the note on screen says live voice is paused while VEP is in the background, not while a browser tab is.
- A clean pause every time: each break now ends that conversation's connection, so after several breaks a new live voice conversation is not turned away.
