VEP now keeps you signed in while you use it: each day you open it moves the end of your sign-in about a week ahead, so people who use VEP often are not asked to sign in every week.
Why it matters
Signing in again every week got in the way of a quick look at your chats on the go, most of all in VEP on your iPhone home screen. Now regular use keeps you in, and a sign-in you stop using still ends by itself.

- A sign-in lasted 7 days from the moment you signed in, so even people who opened VEP every day had to sign in again once a week.
- Now
- VEP keeps your sign-in going while you use it, and asks you to sign in again only after a week without a visit or 90 days after you signed in.
What you get
- Every day you use it: opening VEP, or coming back to it after a while, moves the end of your sign-in about a week ahead, in the browser on your phone or computer.
- A week away: if you do not use VEP for about a week, it asks you to sign in again the next time you open it or come back to it.
- Every three months: even if you open VEP every day, it asks you to sign in again 90 days after you last signed in.
- Home screen app: VEP added to your iPhone home screen stays signed in the same way, so it opens straight into your chats.
- New accounts too: right after you create an account, VEP keeps you signed in the same way as after any other sign-in.
How to use it
Nothing to switch on: it works in the browser on phones and computers and in VEP added to your iPhone home screen.
