Big spreadsheet reports your AI employee learns from are read faster
For operations and finance teams
Part of What you teach your AI employee stays in use
When your AI employee learns from a spreadsheet with thousands of merged cells, such as an accounting export, it now reads it many times faster in our tests. The text it gets is exactly the same.
Why it matters
Finance and operations teams often share report-style exports full of merged cells. In our tests such a report is now read in under a second, so your AI employee can learn from it much sooner.
- Before
- A spreadsheet report with many thousands of merged cells could take many seconds to read, over 20 seconds in our largest test.
- Now
- In our tests, a report with 20,000 merged cells is read in under a second, with exactly the same text as before.
What you get
- Many times faster in our tests: a report with 20,000 merged cells took 23.5 seconds to read before and 0.57 seconds now. One with 12,000 went from 7.7 to 0.39 seconds.
- Exactly the same text: merged cells still repeat their value, and your AI employee learns the same text from the file as before.
How to use it
It applies when an app hands your AI employee a spreadsheet to learn from, such as an Excel file from Google Drive. A file attached in chat is read as before.
Part of: What you teach your AI employee stays in use
All your standing instructions now reach your AI employee's written chat answers, and what it learned stays in use until something newer replaces it.
